A day for ducks and me.

"Sunny Manchester" has been a joke saying for years. Manchester lies in a bit of a dip, not quite a valley but enough that once cloud floats in, it stays....and pours.

Sometimes you can lock yourself away with a laptop and carry on with business as usual when the weather is like this, and sometimes you just zip your coat up a little higher and go forth into it with gusto. Today, I'm doing a bit of both. I'm staring out of my house window, looking at the pretty horrid wet and windy, keeping warm inside. But later, I'm off to valet a car inside and out, then taking another car for repair and catching the Tram back home.

The Trams are excellent in Manchester....but then there's the weather and that one leaf that brings the whole network to a holt. But there are many ways to get around Manchester. Trains, Taxi's Hire scooters and bikes, buses and probably others that I cannot think of right now.

So, wish me luck out there today. I'll be thinking of all the people who need to get from A to B today. If you see me, jump on the back of the scooter and I'll get you home.
